All about the kids

What a perfect way to while away the afternoon. Happy New Year everyone. Here’s all of my January 2015 news! I thought I’d show you my favourite images from the day I spent at ‘It’s the Little Things‘ day nursery last June. I love photographing kids of this age in their own environments. They get so absorbed in whatever they are doing. After a while, they hardly notice you’re there.

These kids have the best time at ‘forest school’ – hunting for bugs, jumping off logs, making paintings with natural inks and generally just running around.

Down to the serious business of watering the plants. Then back to playing peekaboo and painting your hand green. Aghh! Stay away from my lens!

These kids were brilliant and they certainly kept me busy running around after them. There are more images from the nursery on my education photography page if you fancy a look.

Just over a year ago I was commissioned to produce photography for Greater Manchester’s NHS CAMHS. The purpose of the photoshoot was a recruitment campaign for mental health practitioners. To photograph current practitioners in their place of work, in a positive light, enjoying their work.
