Last year I had the privilege of photographing some of the winners of Woman and Home's 'Amazing Women' 2020 competition. These awards celebrate the achievements of 10 women "whose inspirational work pushes boundaries, broadens minds, changes lives and improves our world".
I love horses so this job was a real treat for me! I photographed Sam and her horse Dougie for Good Housekeeping Magazine in Staffordshire. Sam was working gruelling shifts as a nurse on the Covid wards at the start of the epidemic when she contracted Covid in May.
