Over in Leeds I visited iseepr, a company that specialises in tech PR, to take a group shot and to keep them up to date with their headshot photography. A really friendly bunch of people, who always make me feel very welcome. It’s also a big bonus that they have a lovely looking office to work with so I don’t struggle for nice backgrounds.
I was very excited to be approached by an agency all the way from New Zealand for a commercial photoshoot for Xero, the accounting software people. I landed back down to earth when I realised the shoot was only an hour away in York! I visited Hunter Gee Holroyd along with a team of videographers to document a case study – HGS using and being trained on Xero software.
This was a really sweet story for Good Housekeeping magazine with author Tracy Bloom and husband Bruce in Derbyshire. ‘I Married My Best Friend… Two Decades After We First Met.’ A lovely couple and very easy to photograph. Thanks to make up artist Molly Payne.
A trip to Sheffield to photograph the stars of BBC Radio Sheffield. I do love photographing radio presenters – they are often a bit shy in front of the camera but always have big personalities that make really lively and fun portraits.
I really enjoyed this Branding Photoshoot in central Leeds with Katie and Amy from Haggerty Jaques (a legal recruitment agency). Katie and Amy were both quite nervous but soon got into the swing of the photoshoot and I think they actually enjoyed it in the end 🙂 Branding images are so useful to promote a business. If you are the face of your business it’s a really good idea to have a selection of promotional images handy.
Lastly, I was asked to take corporate portraits for Red Sky Learning. RSL provide leadership and team development to businesses. They are based in a really pretty part of central Leeds and I was able to find lots of little locations on the doorstep which resulted in a set of headshots that were individual, but still hung together well with the red brick / industrial look.
Bye for now.

I was invited to spend the day with Mosaic to create some quirky fun headshots that really show the personality of the people and the company. We used 3 different background colours and played around with different expressions and poses and although the office dog took it rather seriously, he does look very handsome :-).
Box Power asked me to photograph their event to celebrate 10 years in business. Box Power is a UK not-for-profit energy consultancy, where all profits, go back into the community and support good causes. It was a lovely evening, with an amazing fire artist, plus the mayor attended – always the sign of a good ‘do’ in my book!
Bearded Fellows in Manchester, invited me to the office for a day to capture imagery to help illustrate who they are and what they do. Firstly to catch profile portraits of each person in a candid and relaxed style with a positive, creative and engaged feel.
We start with a trip to Edinburgh to photograph students at Preston Lodge High School to capture promotional photography for my client, We Are Futures. NatWest run their varied CareerSense workshops across lots of different educational settings for 13 to 24 year olds.
I love these portraits for SMRS in Manchester! I had fun photographing about 20 employees and they didn’t need much encouragement to be themselves and let their personalities shine! Dan K worked his magic to transform the background into lots of different versions of their brand identity. I was thrilled with the results :-)
